For years, our team dreamed of different ways to highlight all of the uniquely wonderful small businesses within Carteret County — because, y’all, there are so many! We came up with the perfect solution: the Carteret Curated People’s Choice Awards, an annual community endeavor where residents and visitors alike get the chance to recognize their favorite small businesses within a variety of sub-categories, including the taste, shop, experience and give framework. In 2021 (the inaugural year!), over 10,000 folks who love Carteret County participated in the People’s Choice Awards.
