What are the People's Choice Awards?
How it Started:
What began as the Carteret Curated Instagram account to celebrate our local small business, charities and local heroes who make Carteret County the most special place to live has now grown into a two-week voting phase to compile EVERY small business in a variety of categories and share them with you in our annual People's Choice Guide. It's a way for us to get to know local business owners, provide resources, help spread the word, and so much more!
How it Works:
For two weeks in April, folks who live in and love Carteret County can vote for their favorite businesses in a variety of categories! EVERY business that receives a nomination and is based in or serves Carteret County is then included in our annual People's Choice Guide — an online and printed resource for locals and visitors to taste, shop, experience, and give back on the Crystal Coast! Our goal is to celebrate all of our local small businesses and the wonderful things they bring to our community.
